Start a blog, they said. It will be easy, they said.
But... is it tho?
What if no one ever reads it? What if I don't have anything to say that others will be interested in?
Sure, I guess I don't have the most boring life.
I am currently travelling down to Portugal with my dog and my cat. On a sailboat. That belongs to my ex.
Do I sound crazy to you? Hah, I probably am. But, you know, better crazy than boring! ;) That's at least what I think. I can promise you one thing. It will never ever get boring with me. If so, let me know!
But, is this enough? Will you actually show up to read about me, my life and what I think about things? Well, I guess we are about to find out... What do we have to loose, right?
So... where to start?
Let's talk about this blogging thing first. Why do I even start with something that I don't have any clue of how it actually works?
Well, let me tell you!
It's a very easy and stupid reason. Money. Stupid money. Why can't I be without it? Why can't I do what I want, go where I want without having it, without spending it.
Well, this is sadly the world we live in and we all have to deal with it on a daily basis.
Of course, I could sell things online. Like handcrafted stuff. Or water ionizers. Or even aloe vera products. (I have looked into this kind of stuff, maybe more about it another time.) Or like pictures of my feet. I heard people make good money doing that. But, to be honest, I have never been good at selling anything, leave alone myself. (I actually offer zero-waste online cooking classes! But I am not as successful with it as I would like to be...) I am sometimes very awkward when it comes to interaction with people and social situations.
So yeah, selling is not for me. I would hate it. And I want to do something, that I really love with all my heart. And something, that has a good impact on the world. That would be my perfect vision of a job, where making money would just be a nice side effect of it.
So, here we are.
I have to apologize, my bla bla is all over the place right now. I am new to this, so you'll have to be a bit patient with me. I will get there eventually. ;)
Now a few words to what you can be expecting of this blog. What I will be talking about... It will be all things, that I care about. Issues that occupy me. And if you have similar interests as me, I hope I can tickle your fancy! ;)
This whole blog will be surrounding an overall topic that is very important to me.
